PPG Purchasing Titanium Dioxide (quanxu)

Henan Ji Li Lian Chemical Co., Ltd. announced on June 26 that according to the "Supply Agreement" signed with PPG Industries, PPG Industrial will purchase at least 30,000 tons from the company in the next five years (2013~2017). Titanium dioxide is purchased annually at 5,000 tons, 5,500 tons, 6,000 tons, 6,500 tons, and 7,000 tons.

The company also signed an agreement on the transfer of titanium dioxide technology for chlorination with PPG Industries. The "Transferment Agreement" stipulates that PPG will use its chlorination process titanium dioxide technology license for the production of titanium dioxide in China, and will be used to manufacture titanium dioxide. In three phases, it paid US$1.8 million to PPG.
